Bamboo is an excellent material for cutting boards as it is extremely hard and durable. Not only that, but unlike many hardwood products, bamboo is a completely renewable resource since it is actually a type of grass.

Fits over standard surface grates and grill and may also be used as a cutting board. Hardwood cover for use on the VGIC, VGSC, VGRC gas ranges, VDSC dual fuel range and VGRT gas rangetop. Note: The hardwood cover fits over the griddle, but to cover a griddle with a more custom fit, a bamboo griddle cover/cutting board is recommended (see our eBay store). This item does not fit the 42 inch wide VGRT, the VGIC and VDSC Sealed Burner Ranges or the Portable Griddle. This cover should be removed before lighting the adjacent burners.
